    Radianta Announces New Beacon Retail Modules

    IRVINE, Calif., January 14, 2008 – Radianta, Inc., an end-to-end application development and integration company, today announced the availability of three new modules for the Beacon Retail™ application suite – Customer Service Connection™, Retail Mobile Connect™ and Retail Messaging Direct™.  Specifically designed for Cisco Unified IP Communications environments, and built upon the powerful Cisco Unified Application Environment platform, the modules enhance customer service, improve store management and increase employee productivity. The announcement was made in conjunction with Radianta’s appearance in the Cisco booth at the National Retail Federation conference being held this week in New York City.

    Customer Service Connection™ supports unprecedented interaction between customers and floor employees and provides enhanced business intelligence relative to traditional call box solutions. The customer care module targets in-store customer support requests to appropriate employees. When combined with Radianta’s innovative Wi-Fi call buttons and Cisco wireless phones, Customer Service Connection™ is designed to help increase per-basket revenues, while providing key performance metrics to enhance employee performance and overall business intelligence.

    Retail Messaging Direct™ allows retailers to directly communicate important corporate information to all employees. The module enables retailers to easily and effectively create, manage and distribute corporate messages to any and all employees. In addition, the system’s logging and reporting capabilities support corporate compliance requirements.

    Retail Mobile Connect™ allows the interconnection of legacy radio networks with next-generation IP communications systems. The module enables Push-To-Talk (PTT) between Cisco IP phones and in-store walkie-talkie systems. Retail Mobile Connect™ is designed to ease the transition to IP telephony in retail environments by providing true interoperability with legacy systems.
