Network Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, implementation and support of IP LAN/WAN networks, servers and services. The position will produce solution designs, support documentation and accurate pricing quotations to support all sales business units. Primary focus will be on Microsoft and Cisco technologies. The Engineer may be responsible for presentations and product demonstrations in support of the sales team. Candidates need to demonstrate their ability to support Microsoft and/or Cisco technologies in a corporate LAN/WAN environment.
Skills/Requirements:
Experienced professional with at least 2 to 5 years Microsoft or Cisco platform experience. Proven abilities to design, configure, and present business solutions. Solid written and verbal communications skills are essential. The ability to organize and prioritize workload, manage multiple assignments as well as provide timely and accurate project completion estimates will be vital to success. The Engineer must be capable of being self-directed and able to work effectively in a teaming environment both with and without direct supervision.
Education:
Education: Professional in Telecommunications , Computer Science, Information Technologies. Microsoft and/or Cisco Certifications including MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE and Cisco voice specializations are preferred. Experience: Professional Sales and /or Technical Sales support experience a plus.
