IP Telephony Engineer
Roles and Responsibilites:
Responsible for the design and technical accuracy for converged voice and data solutions with a focus on Cisco IP Telephony. The position will produce integrated solutions designs, support documentation and accurate pricing quotations to support all sales/business units. Main focus will be on converged technologies for mid to large enterprises. The Engineer will occasionally be responsible for presentations and product demonstrations in support of the sales team. Candidates need to demonstrate their ability to support solutions involving IP Telephony / voice over IP and emerging voice / data technologies.
Skills/Requirements:
Experienced professional with at least 2 to 5 years telephony and/or data experience. Proven abilities to design, configure, and present converged voice and data solutions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. The ability to organize and prioritize workload, manage multiple assignments as well as provide timely and accurate project completion estimates will be vital to success. The Engineer must be capable of being self-directed and able to work effectively in a teaming environment both with and without direct supervision.
Education:
Education: Professional in Telecommunications , Computer Science, Information Technologies. Microsoft and/or Cisco Certifications including MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE and Cisco voice specializations are preferred. Experience: Professional Sales and /or Technical Sales support experience a plus.
